Date Night

Gene said my last post sounded quite bitter, so I'll keep this one a little bit more upbeat. That shouldn't be too hard though since yesterday was a great day. We spent some time at home playing with the kiddos, and then Gene and I went out. I always love spending time with my sweetie, but it is especially nice when it is just the two of us. Last night was a rather practical date night, we stopped at Costco to get some shopping done. For dinner we went to the Pizza Factory, it was really yummy of course (I love the no carb meals.) After dinner we went to Barnes and Noble to look through books, one of our favorite activities:)

While we were heading out I took my picture of the day. . .

the mountains looked so pretty with the sun setting behind us, so I stuck my hand out the window and snapped this picture. It kind of made me laugh when I was uploading it on my computer, because it shows just how far out in the sticks we truly live - we had been driving for ten minutes already.

Here is another fun picture I took yesterday of the kiddos, after their bath - for some reason they like to hang out in their towels after bath time, and we were in no hurry so I let them sit and watch Blues Clues for a while. I thought it was pretty cute.
